Feminist artist, Barbra Kruger, has her own signature style that contains large, bold text collaged on found photographs or entire walls, and includes personal pronouns such as “you,” “your,” and “me” along with familiar, yet ironic aphorisms. Kruger’s installations involve large, bold text printed onto walls, floors, and ceilings in black, white and/or red combinations. The words and pictures printed on the walls surround and attack the viewer; the statements crudely providing ironic criticism of sexism and cultural hierachies of power and influence
